WELLCON, Inc. is a Utah Registered S-Corporation that was founded in Salt Lake City in 1996. WELLCON continues to have its national headquarters in Salt Lake City and the company's sole focus is the delivery of healthcare to incarcerated individuals. WELLCON was founded by Todd R. Wilcox, MD, MBA, CCHP-A, who has been involved in the delivery of progressive healthcare to correctional markets since the founding of the company.

WELLCON has worked diligently, cooperatively, and amicably with agencies across the country to assist them in creating modern correctional healthcare delivery systems that have been recognized nationally ideal models of care. WELLCON's leadership and program design were central to the recognition of the Salt Lake County Jail as NCCHC's 2001 Facility of the Year. WELLCON's goal is to continue its long history of excellence in the management and delivery of correctional healthcare nationally.
