Todd R. Wilcox, MD, MBA, CCHP-A
Dr. Wilcox has served as the Medical Director of the Salt Lake County Jail System for sixteen years. During his tenure he has assisted Salt Lake County in transforming its healthcare system into one of the most modern and technologically advanced correctional systems in the country. He specializes in acute care medicine, orthopedic and sports injuries, and HIV medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at Duke University followed by medical school at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He also has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Utah. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah and an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Salt Lake Community College. He is a well-known lecturer at national conferences on correctional healthcare, healthcare policy, healthcare technology, and healthcare operations. He also has considerable experience as an expert witness in legal venues nationally.
